SP (Shock Pack) shock-absorbing lanyards are made of woven "tear-resistant webbing" designed to tear under load. This tearing action absorbs a significant portion of the downward force during a fall, thus minimizing the risk of injury. The webbing is folded and shrink-wrapped into a compact 25 x 5 x 15 inch (1 x 2 x 6 in) package sewn directly onto the lanyard next to the connector.
Certified to CSA Z259.11-17 standards.
Made of ultra-durable, high-grade 25 mm (1 in) polyester webbing with a tear-away snag for shock absorption.
A ripstop absorber limits the fall arrest force to a maximum of 40 kN (900 lbf) and an average arrest force of less than 30 kN (675 lbf).
PeakWorks E4 SP lanyards have a capacity of 50-100 kg (110-220 lb).
