SP (Shock Pack) lanyards are made of ripstop webbing woven in such a way that it can tear under load. This tearing action absorbs a significant portion of the downward force during a fall, thus minimizing the risk of injury. The webbing is folded and shrink-wrapped into a compact 25 x 5 x 15 in (1 x 2 x 6 in) package sewn directly onto the lanyard next to the connector.
Certified to CSA Z259.11-17 standards.
